Making a purchase
By submitting your order either through the website or by telephone, you are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use your details for the purpose of supplying (including passing your delivery details to couriers)

We will not use your details for any other purpose and will not store your details after the order has been processed. We will need your details again if you make further purchases.

We are obliged to supply the goods to you until we have confirmed acceptance of your order. You do not own the goods until we have received full payment. If you discover you have made a mistake with your order, please contact us immediately on 01270 505048 or sales@abcmodelsport.co.uk

Our website information is regularly checked but if we find the price has changed when we receive your order we will contact you to ask you if you wish to proceed.

If an item is out of stock, you will not be able place an order or submit payment details. Instead you will receive an email advising you that the item is out of stock. We will contact you once we get the item in stock to see whether you still wish to proceed with purchase. We endeavour to get items back in stock as quickly as possible.

Delivery
We aim to deliver goods to you within 2-3 working days of the order being processed. Should you need an item quicker, please phone us on 01270 505048 and we will see if we can accommodate your requirements.

If you receive good that have been damaged in transit or are faulty, please call us as soon as possible so that we can resolve the matter.

UK Orders
Orders are sent either by Royal Mail or by courier depending on the weight of the parcel. Upon placing the order, confirmation will be sent automatically, If you do not receive confirmation, it will be because:

• We did not receive your order
• You entered the email address incorrectly

Overseas Orders
These orders will be dealt with on an individual basis and we will get in touch with you to advise of the likely delivery time and cost. The website will debit your card account with the order plus the set postage fees - if your order is more than three items we may have to charge more for postage, but this will only be done following approval via return email from yourselves once we have worked the extra postage costs. If you are not happy with this extra charge we will gladly refund you your order.

We currently debit cards in pounds sterling – this will be converted by your card provider to your local currency.

Cancellation of Order and Returns
Should you decide to cancel an order after we have placed the order with our suppliers, we will refund the amount minus a 10% charge for administration costs.

As a consumer you have the right, in addition to your other rights, to cancel the contract and receive a refund. You must inform us in writing of your desire to cancel within seven working days after placing your order. You must return any goods to us at your own cost or you may ask us to arrange collection, which will be chargeable. We advise you to ensure the goods are well packed and adequately insured during any return journey that you organise. Items can only be returned if they are incomplete, incorrect or faulty.

Model Build Commission Terms And Conditions

If you are interested in having a model built to your specifications,
then please read and understand the terms below:

The cost of any commission will be worked out on a full price quote with delivery charges dependant on the model being built.
That is to say if it is a commercial kit for example then a straight forward build and finish will be a single costing quote,assuming no after market extra items have to be brought in or scratch built modifications at client request.
Modifications fall into the category of lighting, electronics, mechanical additions and
likewise alterations at customer request to commercial kits/models will be additional, costs will be calculated and listed to inform the client of available options if such things are requested.
Scratch built models will be a one costing quote after all details have been agreed to between ABC Models and the client.
No build/work commission will become a final binding agreement until a first payment of 50% has been tendered to ABC Models by the client.
By this, it will be taken that the client has committed to the final price and accepts responsibility to make payment of the balance upon Item(s) completion.
It also will be taken that we have a binding agreement to complete the work to client satisfaction and specifications.
Payment Or Work Completion Defaulting
Unless for sound and good reasons, any default of final balance payment by the client will result in the model and the 50% deposit remaining the property of ABC Models until final payment of any outstanding monies has been made.
Unless an equitable agreement can be reached within an acceptable time frame, failure to pay the balance of monies will result in the agreement between client and ABC Models will be considered null and void. Item(s) and deposits paid will remain ABC Models property.
If for any reason I am unable to complete the work, any monies paid for an item or items will be refunded in full.
Any reasonable client dissatisfaction with the finished work will be rectified free of charge.
If this cannot be done then all monies paid will be refunded in full and the item will remain ABC Models property.

If a 'deadline' , which I define as a specific time of completion and delivery is agreed to,
then this will be taken to be a condition unbreakable by both ABC models and the client.
